I don't mind even-keeled players who know how to manage their emotions. He just reminds me a lot of Jay Bouwmeester (not the skating), but just unfazed, calm under all situations, no panic in his game...just a very cerebral player. It doesn't mean they don't have competitive fire and don't want to win, you don't make the NHL by not being a competitor. I used to want to see that emotion and outward expression, but the older I get I've just learned to give some space to players who manage that in their own way.
