Said it in the OOT thread. But this is an organization that sooner or later needs to really consider selling off some pieces and replenishing the system. Duclair was a band aid who fit what they need but hardly brings the consistency. There’s just no finishers. He can finish. And now he’s out long term. Its the same middling shit every year. They struggle to score. They struggle to finish games out. They’re not a team that can compete and win 4 playoff rounds. And if you can’t do that, what are you doing? Maybe not rip it down to the studs. But an adjustment needs to happen eventually. It’s too much of the same old, same ol’ and not enough offense or finishing. It’s been this way awhile too.
